It’s a been a week of extremes in Upper West. We’ll start with the calm and wonderful. The beautiful weather at the beginning of the week gave us the chance to take advantage of our outdoor space. It’s such a treat to be able to spread out and take our learning to new places.

Also wonderful this week was our annual Mother’s Day Tea. A Montessori school relies on the commitment and support of parents as much as it does on materials and practice, and these small opportunities we get to show a little bit of appreciation mean the world to both us, and to your kids. Enjoy the gallery above, and thank you, Moms, we couldn’t do any of this without you.

And now for the chaos extreme! The classroom has been a hive of activity as preparations for the science fair are now in full swing. We hope you can make it on the morning of Friday, May 23, to see all of the presentations during the Strata Cafe. It is complete chaos in the classroom right now, but the sense of excitement is certainly overpowering any sense of anxiety.
