We all felt the full moon and spring fever this week. Energy was high and everyone had a great time in the wonderfully warm weather.
This week, we welcomed two more reading buddies from Upper Elementary. The children loved listening to their stories and interacting with the big kids. We did some planting outside and baked muffins to celebrate Friday.
Now for some administrative business:
We are trying out a new communication tool called SeeSaw. This is an app that works much like Facebook but is limited to our classroom and specifically your children. We, the guides in the classroom, are able to post pictures, videos, and notes to a classroom feed. You are able to access this feed through your children – you will only see pictures of your child or of a group of children in which your child is a part of. We would like to try this out and see what you think. We will continue our weekly emails and all other current communication tools for now. We value your feedback in this so please give it a try and let us know. In the next few days, if you would like to be involved in this new way of accessing your child’s pictures, please download the SeeSaw app. When you pick up your child at school I will have a handout for you to scan with your phone to enable you to access the classroom app. Then we will play with it and see how it goes.
All the best,
Kate, Kristy, and Lisa.
