Can’t have a Date Night for Foodies without the food! Here’s what you can expect to satiate your gastronomical desires at the 2017 DVMS/Strata Benefit: Date Night for Foodies.
Mel Athulathmudali (Stratford Chef School who you will remember from the Strata Supper Club events this year) and Scott Friedmann (DVMS and Strata parent, and a Masters in Hospitality from Cornell University) will be offering:
- Slow Faux Poke Tuna made from compressed watermelon
- Puffed Wild Rice
- Pickled Ginger
- Wasabi Oil and Nori w/ Strawberry & Rhubarb Lemonade

Joe and Lindsey Mrav (DVMS parents and proprietors of the soon-to-open Grain and Grit Small Batch Beer) will be offering:
- Beer tastings paired with the offered food.
Eric Deschenes (DVMS parent and Pastry Chef at Rousseau House and graduate of Niagara Culinary Institute) will be providing the dessert offerings:
- Triple Layer Chocolate Cake with Salted Caramel and Chocolate Ganache served with Southbrook Framboise dessert wine.
