Michael Rode is an assistant Montessori guide in Upper Elementary West at DVMS. Michael completed his AMI Primary training at the Foundation for Montessori Education. He also graduated from Queen’s University with an honours BA in Drama and spent several years performing the works of Shakespeare across Canada, composing music for the stage, singing (virtually) for the Queen of England, and running a theatre company in Toronto. Michael brings a strong arts background to DVMS, along with a strong commitment to authentic Montessori education.
Outside of the classroom, Michael can be found reading to his two children, playing guitar, singing and conducting with the Hamilton Choir Project, and drinking coffee.
