The DVMS Parent-Child Class serves as an introduction to caregiving through the lens of Montessori philosophy. In a beautifully prepared space for children ages 2 months to walking, children are free to explore activities along side their caregiver, with the guidance of a trained Assistant to Infancy.  Caregivers will learn how to watch and support developmental milestones and engage with their children using materials provided in the space.

Parent-Child Programs runs in 8 week sessions and includes a weekly 1.25 hour session for your child and a caregiver. Printed resource materials as well as book, furniture and toy suggestions will be available at each session.

Parent - Child Music Classes - FULL

Parent - Music Classes (2 - 18 months) - Tuesday mornings 10:30 - 11:15 - Register Here for waitlist

Along with an accompanying caregiver, children meet weekly for a 45-minute class and enjoy singing, moving, listening and interacting socially, and playing simple instruments. This class incorporates current research on early childhood development and provides families a special place for learning and connecting with other parents and babies through music and movement. With a blend of multi-level (newborns, lap babies, crawling babies, and walking toddlers) activities that include creative movement, vocal play, object and instrument exploration caregivers gain insights about their babies’ unique development.
